1983 - The
North Coast Repertory Theatre (NCRT)
presented its first production, "She
Loves Me," at the Eagle House Inn
in Eureka.

1984 - NCRT
began renting the former Salvation Army
building in Eureka as a permanent performance
space. Interior renovations resulted
in a 135-seat auditorium with raked
floor and raised stage, lobby &
concessions area.

1984 - 1985 - NCRT
presented its first full season, consisting
of five plays.
|
1985 - 1996 - NCRT continued
offering full seasons, establishing
itself as the primary facility providing
live theatre in Eureka.

1996 - The Theatre
took over ownership of the building
and NCRT became a corporation.
|
1996 - 1997 - Our 13th
Season saw a 70% increase in ticket
sales compared to the previous season.
|
1997 - NCRT received 501C(3)
non-profit status.
|
1999 - 2000 - Completed
exterior renovations including repaired
& painted facade and a new roof.
Interior renovations included new carpeting
and paint inside building and replacement
of theatre seats. Number of seats increased
to 139.

2000 - 2003 - Our Seasons
each included six main stage productions
and over two hundred Season Ticket Subscribers!
